Formulatrix is a fast growing and innovative supplier of scientific instruments. We are seeking a director of production to manage our 250+ person production effort in Indonesia. Candidates must have strong management experience leading the build of complex products using the Lean methodology. Expatriate candidates will be offered a strong globally competitive compensation package to relocate to Indonesia.
Director of Production, Scientific Instruments
Jawa Tengah - Jl. Soekarno Hatta 121 Salatiga
Responsibilities:
- Lead all aspects of production to achieve production goals. This includes sourcing, machining, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, electronics, assembly, and QA.
- Lead the rollout of a lean manufacturing initiative, including training the existing staff.
- Measurably improve efficiency and quality, to reduce overall costs and generate sustained EBITA gains.
Requirements:
- Candidate must have at least a Bachelor's Degree with more than 10 years of relevant work experience. At least 5 years must be managing production of complex electromechanical devices using Lean techniques.
- At least 1 years’ experience providing Lean training.
- Fluent in English, Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
- Preferably candidates will have worked as Leader, Director, or Senior Manager Positions specializing in Manufacturing/Production Operations or equivalent.
- Full-Time Position, 2 years minimum assignment.

- preferable in GMP and ISO 9001
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
- Proficiency in MS.office
- Having Quality Management System knowledge
- Willing to work in Salatiga – Central Java
